Wordsmith is a 2 to 4 player turn-based crossword style game. The concept is simple and fun. You have a 15 by 15 tile board with bonus squares for Double Letter, Double Word, Triple Letter, and Triple Word scores. You play words with tiles in left-to-right or top-to-bottom directions and earn points. The player with the highest number of points at the end wins the game.

Wordsmith features a score preview indicator that helps you determine what scores you might get before submitting a move. A must have for any serious players.

For those with busy schedules you can play slowly or for those that want to play fast you can do that too thanks to push notifications. I must warn you, this game is addicting!

Way better than words with friends. Play 4 player games are better. Galaxy S II

I like this app, but it needs to force resign people who haven't moved after a few days. I have one game that the opponent hasn't moved for two weeks.

I really like this app but I really want to be able to play against my friends who have iPhones and sadly the only app that allows this currently is Words With Friends. I much prefer everything else about Wordsmith so will be keeping an eye on the market waiting for this function to be added, then I will reinstall, hint hint nudge nudge dev!

Players go inactive and they do NOT resign and you can NOT collect a win.

Great fun & all consuming. Nice we can chat. Problems with a letter tile sticking & blocking view. Another problem mire severe: tonite 2 games won't let me playy turn, says its still opponent's turn, tho all other indicators show otherwise, so games are locked up. It's also a drag that some other opponents just vanished...I don't want to resign, I am winning...They should be resigned automatically.

Not great at all! Really suspect words allowed by online opponents, like: zo? Riz? I'm sure it can only be played properly with players you select yourself. Nah! Am uninstalling.

Fun game. Does it really take over 4 hours for the server to be down for maintenance?problems with it force closing mid-game.motorola devour verizon

I'm playing 2 friends. One game is going well. The other keeps stalling. I place a move and it is days before it shows on my friends phone.
