Description by jdaSoft (from Google Play)

iTMSRemote for Topfield is an Android client for the TMSRemote TAP that runs on the HD Topfield PVRs, mostly found in Australia and Europe. It DOES NOT work with the older SD Topfields like the 5000 and 6000, nor with the first generation HD machines that did not support TAPs (like the 7700, 7000, 7100pvrt etc.)

A pre-requisite for this app is that your PVR is connected to your home network.

For this app to work you will first need to download and install the TMSRemote TAP onto the Topfield box and set up its port and password.

(Download the TMSRemote TAP from here: http://www.topfield.cc/files/Firebird/TMSRemote.zip)

Once TMSRemote is setup and running, run the iTMSRemote app and select the Settings button and enter your PVR's address, and the TMSRemote port (1413 by default), and password (if any). Then select the Play button.

Comments on iTMSRemote for Topfield for Android

★★★★★ Finally, Toppy remote for us non iDevice users Great app with easy setup and integration with TMSRemote TAP. Even usable on my relatively small Desire screen (just).

★★★★★ Very Useful App It's very handy to be able to manage our Topfield PVR from my Moto XOOM or HTC Desire without interfering with TV viewing. App works with phone, but bigger screen of tablet really suits the app. I've also used the PC version of this program for some time.

★★★★★ Great app. Took a while to find the associated tap and install it. Would be nice if you could resize the remote, as on the galaxy tab 7.7 the buttons are very small. Don't know if it is possible, would be nice to be able to use gestures to be able to navigate the remote screens.

★★☆☆☆ ما بشتغل نوع الرسيفر وما بشتغل

★★☆☆☆ Unable to use Unable to dowload the TAP required for it to work with my topfield. Not worth the buy. How do I get my money back?
