This app is almost perfect. Though I would have 2 suggestions/requests: 1. The ability it adds an image to use as album art. The automatic artwork is about 90% successful, it would be great to be able to easily add missing artwork simply. 2. Add an option to send a user saved SSH command to the source device. For example to be able to send a #sudo shutdown now# command to my Raspberry Pi running Rune audio would be amazing. Aesthetically I prefer this app, but I will have to (reluctantly) keep using the Rune audio app as it has the shutdown command built in. However, despite the above, this app is way better than all the alternatives I've tried. I hope this is still in development. Please keep up the great work.

This MPD client is just what I was looking for. Thanks so much for your hard work. Took me a while to figure out just how to configure mpd.conf, but now I can see my entire music library and control it from anywhere in the house. No need to even turn the monitor on. Keep up the great work nameless!

The app has to be closed and reopened in order to reinitiate daemon connection

Not great, if connect fails once it just hangs forever until you uninstall and reinstall. When not using Library and just using Files, the playlist ends up full of escape sequences like %20 for space, very messy and difficult to use the playlist. I'm using Mopidy as mpd if that matters. MALP works okay with the same server.

Cannot connect. Tried many rPi mpd.conf changes. (Using latest Raspbian Stretch Lite distro, with current updates & upgrades.) How does MP Droid connect to the rPi? SSH? What user & pw are used to log in? On my rPi, user pi has a pw. I did " sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -d 0/0 -s 0/0 --dport 6600 -j ACCEPT " to open port 6600, but I'm not sure that's correct... Are there any tools to help debug connection problems? I've tried similar apps, but all have the same problem. My rPi has only mpd, not Rune, or Pi music player, or mpc... Thanks for any help.
