This is the ad supported version of gStrings (www.cohortor.org/gstrings), a chromatic tuner application measuring sound pitch and intensity.

It will let you tune any musical instrument (violin, viola, violoncello, bass, guitar, piano, wind instruments).

Features include:
1. orchestra tuning (shifting/redefining tone frequencies),
2. different temperaments (just, pythagorean, meantone, comma, etc.),
3. a variable range nonlinear scale,
4. microphone sensitivity setup,
5. pitch pipe,
and many more.

Recent changes:
workaround for Dalvik memory bug in ICS 4.0.3,
added option to disable ads,
updated native libraries to support armeabi-v7a, x86.

Dig it when all else fails Not the go to tuner in my bag o tricks, but works great when I need it.

Very accurate! This app picks up my guitar well, and I get in tune as well or better than other tuners I've used.
