You should think of changing the name. It gives tons of variants in Google Play when you search 'missed call reminder', but not Phone Notifier. Sorry for such a good app.

Perfect, simple, basic! Installed yesterday and does the trick. Exactly what I was looking for -- a periodic notication for missed texts and calls. An added bonus is the scheduler to disable the notifications at specific times (e.g., while sleeping). No extra bells and whistles to drain the battery -- just the basics like I wanted. I'm having a little trouble trying to figure out how to program the scheduler. The prompts are a bit confusing, so I'll be emailing the developer for help. If you're looking for simple and basic, this is the app for you!

Suddenly buggy and !?needs to modify contacts?! I had been using Phone Notifier happily for several months. Suddenly, alerts for SMS kept repeating even after reading the text. Had to uninstall (not sure the version but I think it was current as I usually update automatically). I re-installed the latest version (4.1.5), reconfigured, and same thing. Also now appears it's not notifying at all. And...even if these problems do get worked out, I'm not at all pleased with MODIFY YOUR CONTACTS permission being required. That's a showstopper for me. Did I overlook this when I first installed it or is this a new requirement in recent versions.
