You can learn German for free at A2 level. A2 German (A2-Deutsch) is the mobile version of the mobile version of the A2 German Course (A2-Deutschkurs) at https://vhs-lernportal.de. The app allows you to use all the functions of the A2 German Course offline on your smartphone.

I have been using this on iPhone since more than a year now, and I must say that I have tested many other apps to learn German, they are good though. But none are even close to the excellence of how vhs has it. Even though I am b1 I am still doing a2 in vhs app which is so good and will do till I finish all until b2. I really hope vhs creates an app for c1/2 also. I just can see any drawback in using vhs to learn German.

It's a super good app! It has allowed me to improve my German in a very short time. I really like that we get a tutor that corrects our exercises and answers our questions. Also, you can always work on the portal in your computer and access to more features.

I normally don't review apps but this one is just too good it is an amazing app I suggest to everyone willing to learn A2 Deutsche the lessons are amazing the audios are clean, the exercises really teach you and here you can practice your Hören, schreiben, lessen und speeches I will definitely continue until the last level congratulations to the creators ❤️❤️❤️

In order to register to use the app, I need to accept the T&C and the Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, both documents are written in German. If I could read them I wouldn't need the App! 🤷🤷🤷

Can't log in. The log in screen cuts off the email address, it can't handle the @.

All this app does is collect your personal information. It doesn't actually do anything else. Every link/button either leads to another menu selection or it times out for a couple of minutes while it pretends to load some content.

I tried to register, but the instructions were in German and I didn't understand. At least have registration instructions in English!
