Be prepared by downloading the free AA Roadservice App. The Roadservice app now comes with an integrated AA Roadwatch map and a tracker so AA Members can follow the journey of the Service Officer who is coming to their aid.
If you’re an AA Personal, Business Care or Taxi Care Member you can request help at any time and anywhere in NZ¹.

- Enter your Membership details and set up the app so it’s ready to request AA Roadservice when you need it - Request a callout in a few short steps: confirm contact information and number plate, and tell us what’s wrong with the vehicle - Get status updates, track the Service Officers attending the job and send updates back to our Dispatch team - Check nearby vehicle-related services, such as garages and battery stockists - Use the handy emergency torch function through the phone camera flash if stuck in the dark - Use the Roadwatch feature to monitor road conditions and plan any journey better - Use the Accidents area of the app to record details about what happened and store photos.

I updated the app, and now I can't find an icon for it on my phone. I have to search the app store to find and open it. They replied and told me it is listed under Road service. So it is. I still think it would be more intuitive to call it AA Road service and keep it on the first page of my apps...

screen to make an OK button appear to confirm a date input, thanks!
Impossible to use because there is no way to enter my date of birth to
connect my account. Selecting a date does not close the date picker and
confirm the date.

Paid and renewed my AA roadside assistance but app showing It's still expired. It has been approx 2mos since my payment.

Download app. Share GPS location. Wait for s.o. to arrive. Right? Wrong. 1 min later, AA call center calls "Yeah, we just wanted to ask where you are." Are you kidding??!? I thought that was the whole idea about the App: that it knows exactly where I am, and I don't have to meddle around with describing my location?!

Pointless app. What's the point in the app when you have to call anyway?? The app has access to better location info than most calls would give!
