it's ok but Addison Lee system doesn't allow people to book a black cab in outer London. Have to ask them to change it every time for better access. Also, pre-booked is about £10 more than it come up on the taxi meter in the cab every time.

I paid over double the rate of an Uber because it was essential that I needed to be picked up at a specific time very early in the morning. Five minutes before the dedicated pickup time I was told there was a shortage of drivers in the area. This is exactly why I booked a day in advance and used Addison Lee, because I wanted a driver booked for me ahead of time. Long story short, just use the scheduled booking option in Uber or Bolt as they are half the price and is exactly the same as AL

It's a very primitive and unreliable system. Booked taxi in advance a day earlier, to spend an hour in the morning, constantly getting pushed as they are busy. Shouldn't accept booking for a specific time if you can't handle it.
