Comments on Addison Lee: Taxis & Couriers for Android

★★★★★ June Dalby · Aug 13, 2023

Used to reserve a taxi a week hence - arrived on time, clean & comfortable with pleasant driver. Booked a return taxi for this evening-received text confirming driver & vehicle details, which arrived on time, equally clean & comfortable with another pleasant driver.

★★★★☆ W W · Oct 29, 2025

it's ok but Addison Lee system doesn't allow people to book a black cab in outer London. Have to ask them to change it every time for better access. Also, pre-booked is about £10 more than it come up on the taxi meter in the cab every time.

★★★★★ Abi Lawal · Sep 1, 2023

Great service every time. I have been using Addison Lee for over 10 years, and I have never had bad service from any of their drivers. They are police and professional always and never too busy to offer assistance. Thank you to all those who have ever picked me up.

★☆☆☆☆ James Norris · Jun 4, 2026

I booked a car a week in advance for an operation in central London. They accepted and confirmed my booking. The car never came, I just got a bunch of text messages saying how much of a priority I was until well after the arrival time (car still never came). I wanted to use their service as the app gives the impression of being better than UBER, when in fact they are both less reliable and more expensive

★☆☆☆☆ Eljon Sathwe · Nov 30, 2025

It's a very primitive and unreliable system. Booked taxi in advance a day earlier, to spend an hour in the morning, constantly getting pushed as they are busy. Shouldn't accept booking for a specific time if you can't handle it.

★☆☆☆☆ Wanho Choi · Nov 2, 2024

I had to use Addison Lee's Courier service (#946861) to bring the items from Ikea. The fare was £39.6, but after three days, they tried to charge me extra £5 without any notice. Which logistics company on this planet charges extra fares three days after finishing the journey without any explanation? To make things worse, I had to put up with a rude courier driver call to me "WHERE ARE YOU? COME TO THE BLOODY CAR." I have never heard a swearing word from the courier driver in my life.
