Adopted Adults

Everyone has that one friend who lives somewhere interesting and happens to be a great host. You come stay, they cook for you, show you around, take you on the little adventures you'd never find on your own.

Now imagine thousands of those friends, all over the world. That's Adopted Adults.

HOW IT WORKS

Create your adoption. Open up your world: a spare room, a couch, your city, and what you'd love to show a guest.

Find someone you'd actually get on with. Browse people and the trips they have planned, in 90+ countries. Shared interests show up first.

Start a convo. Talk until you are both ready, and plan the whole trip in one place.

Hop on a video call. We really recommend one before a stay. It is where trust forms and the friendship begins.

Go. Stay with them, eat with them, and see their city the way they actually live it.

WHAT A STAY COSTS

Nothing. The stay is always free, for everyone. No nightly rate, no cleaning fee, no tipping. Your host plans the trip and usually feeds you. You cover your own travel, entry fees and meals out.

To keep it a real community, you adopt before you travel: every member keeps at least one live adoption of their own.

WHO IS HERE

Members in 90+ countries, each hosting the thing they would actually want to show someone. Writing and recording a song in Denmark. The real Knights of Malta. A hike to Alamere Falls and then cooking dinner in San Francisco. Kayaking in Idaho. Board games and bakery trips in Basingstoke.

STAYING SAFE

Adopted Adults is 18 and over, members only.

Verify your identity with a quick ID and selfie check. It is optional, but verified members tend to get more convos.

Every photo and video is screened before anyone else sees it.

Block and report are one tap away, and a person reviews every report.

Your exact address stays private until you have confirmed a stay yourself.
