Comments on ADT (Alder) Home Security for Android

★★★★★ Mary Williams · Sep 17, 2024

I've had Alder for some years now, and I'm very pleased with it

★★★★★ Lincoln Brice · Dec 27, 2024

So far, so good I've only been using the app for a few days, and I feel safe to say it's a good app.

★★★★★ Doyle Thorn · Jul 5, 2025

Great service. I've been a customer since 2014.

★☆☆☆☆ Ari GG · Aug 1, 2024

Can't even log into the app even though I just set up my account. How am I supposed to arm my system when I need to?

★☆☆☆☆ Roseanna Brown · Aug 27, 2024

The app is not allowing me to type in my username to log in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still can't type it in. When I press one letter, multiple letters pop up. I've restarted my phone and reinstalled the app again and the same thing happens. I'm really not liking this change already. I can see it's going to be problems.

★☆☆☆☆ Steven Maduro · Jan 7, 2025

All of a sudden my cameras fail to load. I tried to readd with the QR Code setup is not working when adding a camera, keeps failing to register QR Code. Now I can't see any of my security cameras

★☆☆☆☆ Jeremy Deagan · Aug 19, 2024

Started getting emails from ADT about a place I moved out of 2 years ago. Called ADT and over a 48-minute call got passed around to 7 different people. Each ADT rep acted like they were putting notes on my account but then put me on hold and some new section picked up with no idea of my issue.

★☆☆☆☆ Jay Miley · Apr 26, 2025

Sensors don't work and batteries drain every month. App constantly states that it cannot connect to unit even inside the house on Wi-Fi at full bars.
