I have still only needed to use the basic function of moving between accounts, but found it easy to find and carry out because of its familiarity with the old app. I shall fill in more after I have needed to carry out functions I've found more difficult in the past, plus this is why I can only give you 4 stars at this moment in time.

I had the following error and couldn't log in after installing the new app. "This phone is set up for a different customer, please use a different phone". I had been using the old app on this phone (Pixel 8) for the last two years. I rang customer support yesterday and asked for an agent. They couldn't fix the problem over the phone but sent the issue to the developer. This morning I opened the app, and it's working perfectly. Thanks again for your help and have updated my review to 5 stars 🙏

Definitely taken a massive leap backwards. Unable to use quick balance. I tried transferring to revolut and was asked for a selfie check and a passport or passport card no other options. What was wrong with the confirmation and type pin? Like who even has a passport card number 1 and who carries a passport around with them. If this is not changed back to the older version bye bye aib, I will be closing my account.

The new app is not an upgrade by any means on the old. It is extremely slow to log in if it lets you log in at all. The removal of the quick balance view without having to log is a negative, hopefully that will come back. When making an online purchase the approval in the app took so long that the transaction timed out, took three further attempts for it to go through. Not impressed overall.
