Buyer beware! Buying the lifetime version was a big mistake. Free alternatives are better. Speech recognition fails often. Courses are chaotic & disjointed. Each lesson involves guessing which sentence is correct based on photos. The sentences are full of words that haven't been introduced before. Zero explanation or instruction, just guess. Rosetta Stone defrauded lifetime subscribers by dropping support & adding the word 'Sapphire' to their update, so they can pretend it's a different product.

This app is great, but unfortunately, the audio is one of the worst problems to have. The fact that I spend money on the subscription and can't use the app anymore due to unreliable audio functionality is just frustrating

The speaking exercises require you to be in a very quiet room. They claim that their speech technology is the best but my speech to text on my device can understand the language I'm learning better than Rosetta Stone. Duolingo can understand me better too. The slightest background noise can confuse the speech exercises. I usually do my lessons at work, and I work in a hanger so, yea, it can be noisy but even after finding a quiet location, someone goes through their toolbox can confuse the app.
