Description
CAST™ provides users with the ability to easily view, analyze and share sensor data to evaluate and improve performance. Simply install the CAST™ app on your Android device to view available NMEA data over a BLE or network connection. Create custom gauges and page views to see only the data that is important to you. CAST™ allows the user to perform speed, temperature, and attitude calibrations without the need for additional converters or cables. And, in addition to firmware updates, the app also logs all of the NMEA sensor data over a customized time period for analysis. Smart devices with Bluetooth connectivity can be used to view the data, creating a mobile powerhouse for your application.

Setting up my DST810 was easy on my Pixel 4a. This is a very cool way to calibrate a low-power sensor and is way ahead of most other marine industry UX.

Seems to work, not buggy so that's a win compared to most device driver apps. Could use more help documentation. The help link goes to the quick start guide, which doesn't really have any explanation of how the different speed calibration modes work.

Transducer is seen in Bluetooth menu. Cannot pair. Transducer is not found by the app. Using latest android version on a Samsung s8+.

In addition to still having the problems below, now the app requires location permission at all times, and it tries to use it too. App displays different data than what device transmits to network! Actual transmitted water temp is 71°, app says 22 °F. Actual transmitted depth is 9ft, App says 2.2ft
