I love the support and encouragement from the Al-Anon community. The app makes it so easy to stay connected between meetings and expand my support. One frustration with the app is a glitch with the News Feed. Any time a post is reacted to or commented on, it duplicates the post. I see 4 or 5 of the same post in a row, it keeps me from being able to see more posts and those from other people. :(Want to keep the connections growing and bogging the feed down with duplicates makes that harder.

I've found this app to be very helpful to me on my journey, as it has been super easy and convenient to hop on my phone and jump on whatever meeting is going on at the time. My only annoyance is that a recent update has made it impossible for me to be able to hear the meetings through my phone's speaker (it only uses microphone, which I can barely hear, especially while driving) and I cannot connect it to my Bluetooth headphones.

Editeded 6/22/23: Getting booted out. I was booted out with a couple others in FTF this morning. Android device so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app again. Any updated coming. It states there is a Bug in the app when it closes. Thank you.

What HAPPENED?? App was working fine and keeps crashing after the update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and data, accepted permissions and it keeps crashing

Second time downloading but again the app rejects my already-established log-in (email + password) that I set up on the website. I get a message telling me "password must be more than six characters and include a letter, a number, and a special symbol". My password is randomly generated and includes all that. When I try to change password it says "pls enter a registered email". It's making me insane.

Al‑Anon Family Groups is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.
The Al-Anon program is based on the Twelve Steps (adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous), which we try, little by little, one day at a time, to apply to our lives, along with our slogans and the Serenity Prayer. The loving interchange of help among members and daily reading of Al-Anon literature thus make us ready to receive the priceless gift of serenity.
The official mobile app of the Al-Anon Family Groups is designed to provide an easy way for anyone affected by someone else’s drinking to find hope and help, whether they can attend a face-to-face meeting or not.
