Al‑Anon Family Groups is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.
The Al-Anon program is based on the Twelve Steps (adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous), which we try, little by little, one day at a time, to apply to our lives, along with our slogans and the Serenity Prayer. The loving interchange of help among members and daily reading of Al-Anon literature thus make us ready to receive the priceless gift of serenity.

Frustrating this time around. Just re-installed for meetings on the go. Some bug causes the app to continue crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. Cleared the cache. Nothing works. I really needed a meeting this morning and am frustrated that the app won't work! Will update if response is received. ETA: quick response from developers and issue has been resolved!! Thank you!!!!

I love the support and encouragement from the Al-Anon community. The app makes it so easy to stay connected between meetings and expand my support. One frustration with the app is a glitch with the News Feed. Any time a post is reacted to or commented on, it duplicates the post. I see 4 or 5 of the same post in a row, it keeps me from being able to see more posts and those from other people. :(Want to keep the connections growing and bogging the feed down with duplicates makes that harder.

Ever since downloading the new update I do not access to Bluetooth devices and therefore am unable to hear the meetings through my ear buds and/or my van while driving ... it will only play through my device and therefore no privacy which means no meetings for me for over 24hrs :(... would have rated this app 5 stars before the latest update but now unfortunately I'm giving it only 1 ... hoping it gets fixed ASAP !!
