This app is only for the professional diagnostics tool supplied by ALLDATA. In that context it works properly. It is not for the DIY version. All versions will also run on the standard tablet web browser and provide repair information. Diagnostics (codes, scan data, bidirectional control) require this app, the proper vehicle connection interface, and a current diagnostics subscription. The difficulties that other reviewers are posting are due to user error.

Things changed at All Data and I now can't access my DIY repair info. I just renewed my monthly subscription and couldn't access my repair product. I called and the rep said the app is only for the professional products (very expensive!) It wasn't like this earlier this year. She said I must use a browser to access my product. This was not mentioned in the app description. Very disappointed and angry. Hey Google, are you really going to allow this deceit to continue? Why have an app?
