★★☆☆☆ 1 more star than the other ally app Finally, a real android app. The icon for this one is finally high enough res to not appear pixellated on my 3 year old devices. The UI is vastly improved and doesn't look like a iPhone port from 6 years ago. Multi-window view is great. It's still lacking polish, though. Many of the buttons are just icons, and it's hard to tell what they do without trying them. This is a TABLET-only app, NO portrait mode whatsoever. I tried installing on my phone using the apk pulled from my tablet, and nothing is viewable because the screen is too small and nothing scales correctly. Many features are missing... can't view check images, and echeck deposit does not work at all (ally encountered an error...) Still, it's finally running at high res and doesn't look terrible anymore. Please Ally, you're an internet-only bank. Android dominates the smartphone landscape now. How are you not embarrassed about your apps?
