I have had this charger installed to charge my plug-in hybrid car. I installed the app on my Samsung phone and set everything up to charge overnight. I didn't rate it a 5 due to the supplied booklet. The pictures in the book of the phone screens are too small, and the instructions are not clear enough. I've managed it now and am very pleased with the app that works fine without any issues. The charger also looks great on the house wall and gives a clear indication of the charger status.

It works. Inprovements to be made. Push notifications when chargin/finished. Or errors. Raised ticket this is not possible yet. Can be little buggy, close the app and reopen irons out problems

This app appears to have a wide set of functions, however most of them are just broken. There is a broken time-based electricity pricing screen (you cannot add time periods). There is a scheduled charging function (it does not work/activate). The registration flow was awkward, but at least it did eventually work. However, one set up the charger+app are basically only useful for 'charge it right now while I stand next to you'.

Timed charging worked for two days then nothing. The charger moves between Local Device and Cloud Device at its own will. I set up one Cycle Every Day timing charge config. It worked for two days then stopped charging and the config I set is grayed out and can't be enabled or deleted. Nor will it let me set up another one as all the config options are grayed out too. Abysmal app and the Project EV charger is getting sent back if it's not sorted
