It keeps asking me to update my information but when I want to take a picture of my permit, the camera is blurry no matter what lighting I use even though my camera has very good quality. Update: The staff gave me a personal phone call and explained why this is happening. They were very friendly and helpful, I appreciate them reaching out to me. They extended the deadline and suggested I call a branch directly to manually update the information as the app camera doesn't work with some phones.

Amazing response from the nova team. Access to my account has been restored. Original comment. The app claims my ID expired, even though my Lagos branch updated three weeks ago. App doesn't recognize my passport, so I am locked out of my account. Helpline says go to branch, but as an expat I only go a couple of times a year. Useless

More than 3 times I went to branch. Spoke to them and showed all my paperwork still application can't turn on I can't see transactions. No nothing at all. Rude branch manager. All the time make me feel uncomfortable as I am not fluent in Portuguese. I think I should leave this bank and close the account.

Buggy app. I had pending payment notifications to authorize and were not showing until I forced quit the app and login again. Then when I logged in again it forced me to set up biometrics, and I could not cancel or skip it and the options were greyed out. I had to force quit it. It is unacceptable to force people to set up biometrics because if somebody kills you or kidnaps you or drugs you, they can access the app, hence why I NEVER set up biometrics.

Portimao staff I had a very disappointing experience at Nova Bank. I waited in line for a long time, but the staff appeared to give priority to people they knew instead of serving customers in the order they arrived. This felt unfair and unprofessional. Every customer deserves to be treated equally and served on a first-come, first-served basis. I hope the bank improves its customer service and ensures fair treatment for everyone.
