Description
Medical ID allows creating medical profiles that are accessible from the lock screen of your device. In case of emergency, the app enables quick access to vital information such as your allergies, blood type, medical contacts, etc. that are essential to attending first responders, medics, or medical staff having to take action.
This is the premium version of the app. It enables all features:
• Quick access to medical information from your lock screen. • Emergency alert feature to send SMS in one click (with your estimated location). • Location sharing with emergency contacts even when the app is closed (for up to 24 hours or until you stop sharing). • Direct emergency contacts call from the lock screen without having to unlock. • Backup feature to trigger manually. • Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation. • Current location (address, GPS coordinates). • Compass.
The display and access of your medical information from your lock screen are made possible via an accessibility service to enable and that is part of the core features of the app. Once enabled, the accessibility service displays a widget over your lock screen. This widget helps people who have disabilities, or first responders in case of emergency, to take action and access medical data.

Excellent app police firefighters can click in your lock screen get all your medical conditions, meds and allergy also blood type and emer contacts. It's a God sent as we don't carry all that info a d if you can't speaker they have everything they need to treat you. 2000 stars you won't be disappointed love mine

If both love and hate this app. I love the functions it provides when it is turned on, but really hate it when the app's accessibility service suddenly turns itself off. If the app isn't reliable, it isn't of any value. Further, getting it turned back on for First Responders is too difficult. I've spent over a half hour trying to get it turned back on with no success. Even the videos haven't helped.

Since paying for it, I can't configure the emergency contacts. The app cycles for 2 attempts back to the menu then crashes on the 3rd attempt. There is no error code to share. This was the main reason of purchase, the free version seem to everything else I wanted. I've updated my OS, restarted, checked permissions, made sure the apps updated. Please resolve.

This app was exactly what I looking for. I have a number of medical Conditions, and a pacemaker, and needed .a way to inform EMS should I need to. The free version worked great, and then I upgraded to the paid version to support the creator. Now, however, it won't display on the lock screen, and under app notification it won't let me change it. Can I downgrade to the free version? It deserves 5 stars. On an S24+.

This app randomly texted 911 while I was at work and had the local police tracking me down for a wellness check. While I commend the police for their followup, this app should have a better explanation for how the alert system works. You shouldn't be able to pocket dial 911!
