**UPDATE ** app now working again, thank you! App worked perfectly until I did an update recently. Now it won't scan the barcodes. A green box appears around the barcodes but simply won't scan. Shame really, I found it extremely used beforehand.

The GPS Beats Sainsbury's Hands Down, However I Only Use 1 Store So Couldn't You Include Default Store, And Our Reward Card! So We Don't Have To Keep Turning On GPS And Forgetting To Turn It Off And Our Card Is Going To Always Be Our Card Else wise Why Have An App That Ignores Who The Customer Is!

Edit: Api seems fixed, it's worked reasonably well a couple of times now. The functionality of the app is fine, I only really have one gripe with the UI. I used to be able to have a decent amount of my shopping list or trolly on screen when the camera was on, but now the camera takes up a lot of space, leaving only a few rows visible. It's not too bad now the App is a bit faster; there's a toggle to remove the camera. I just wish I could adjust how much room the camera took up.

This App use to work well untile the Introduction of Cloudflare's Tunstile that keeps looping, preventing access to the app. So, I am going to uninstall it. Terrible app. Update 03 September 2025 I made Google Chrome the default browser for Internet on my mobile and now it works. It appears that Cloudflare's Turnstiles works well with Google Chrome. So, thank you developer for the advice. I have changed my rating to reflect how I feel about Asda Scan and Go.

Can't change camera, the main camera on my phone isn't suitable for scanning things up close, it can't focus but other cameras on my phone can. But the app doesn't let me change the camera to use for scanning barcodes. So I have to enter the barcode manually for half my shop... You have to log in to use the app from day 1 but to this day they still don't auto enable asda rewards associated with the same account.

Used to great to use when asda scanners unavailable. Recently telling me to change browser to chrome or firefox to login, not happening!

You've updated the app and somehow made it absolutely terrible, congratulations on that. It doesn't even scan items now, absolutely terrible, it's a classic case of if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Don't waste your time, go shop elsewhere. Asda is going downhill
