Photo deposit is much more difficult than with other bank apps Update 1/15/2025 photo capture is still troublesome. To get the image in the allotted space without touching the border is always a multiple shot effort. Otherwise, all parts of the app I have used work perfectly.

The response to my review doesn't understand the concept of redundant systems. If your main system needs repair or maintenance you need backups to be functional during the downtimes. No excuse for this. I don't think there has ever been a bank with so much downtime. It's very strange. Things like banking should follow the 5 9's of availability. It's a measure of how reliable a system or service is. It means that a system is fully operational 99.999% of the time.

Mobile depositing with this app is the WORST experience I have ever had! It never reads the check clearly and wants to decline deposits due to date issues or signature issues. The date is always within the required range, and the signature always matches the check, but it still declines the deposit multiple times before it finally goes through.

Honestly it's down more often than not. Seems like every 5/10 times I want to check my account, I can't with the app. And maybe 2/10 times even the web page is having "technical difficulties." They're going to lose a customer if I continue to have trouble finding out my balance. Atlantic Union-FIX IT!
