You can view the world trough your smartphone or tablet. But you can also use a stereoscopik view to enjoy all the exiting effects in real virtual reality! For this feature a VR-Headset like the Cardboard, Homido, Durovis Dive (https://www.durovis.com/index.html) or the Refugio 3D (http://www.refugio3d.net/), VReye GO (http://vrelia.com/vreyego/) or Samsung Gear is needed.
You can save whatever your eyes see to pictures! Pictures will be saved to the /storage/sdcard0/DCIM folder!

Augmented VR Experience contains 43 effects in 7 categories:
1. Rotation effects -normal -left -overhead -right -roll left -roll right
-camera acces (to take pictures) -internet (just to show some links, nothing more) -read external storage (to read and save pictures) -write external storage (to read and save pictures) -wake lock (not get into energy saving mode while the app is running)
All this permissions are only needed by the application to run correctly. No data will be transfered or saved.

Works well, I have some suggested improvements! I'm looking into using a basic VR headset such as google cardboard along with a mobile phone for eye safety in environments with lasers (I work in a laser lab at a university). It seems that a simple camera app is the perfect solution for this. Would it be possible to add voice controls for zooming in and out? Or for Changing brightness, or activating the LED flashlight? Or ultimately use a device such as the Thalmic MYO for these controls?
