Talked to customer support via email and got them working here is how. 1: Uninstaller app. 2:reset gear (hold sync button and reset button and it will powr down and stay yellow for a bit just let it takes its time and it will power back up.) 3:finish training and fist level. 4:reinstall app make new account. Turn on Bluetooth and location service. 5: make sure gear is in explore mode with one power activator on only, (I went outside to be far away from TVs or other interference) go the to the icon in upper right corner and you should see your gear there. If your patient it works and is fun tried powr cycling a few times and it still connects fine.
