Fast, Pronto, Rapid. This Avis app, is intuitive, user-friendly & very organized. Also, the app enables your trip to Avis, on Airport Blvd, @Hobby Airport. To be "hassle-free" no need to interface with a person. Proceed, directly to the reserved vehicle, by way of, # indicated space on Parking lot. Upon exiting the lot, show your(I D) & you're on your way! Easy, fast & rapid ! ****Avis acknowledges our Military Discount....status....repeatedly ****

Grateful for the Uber/Avis partnership. But the app is basically just for receipts. Drivers sign up for Avis Preferred but get zero perks or upgrades after months of renting. Critical safety care like basic windshield wipers should be covered, & adding an in-app feature to request service or repairs, and more inventory options if The car needs to be replaced due to repairs needed. The app desperately needs inventory tools, service support, and real loyalty perks for long-term drivers.

I have to change my password every time I use it even though I know I'm using the right one. I'll be getting ready to deplane and get on the app and of course have to change my password. Fast-forward 20 minutes, and I'm all ready to have the app up at the rental counter, and then it tells me to log in again and of course my password I just made doesn't work, and I have to reset yet again. So frustrating! Avis, hire someone competent to fix this or maybe even start over.

When you find your reservation there is the possibility to edit pick up and return locations! GREAT! Unfortunately when you try to change the return location the app treats it as a new rental and stops because the renting original date is in the past. NO ONE at AVIS considered the possibility to change the return location via app for an existing rental, in 2026. Wow.
