Really appreciate the services provided by Avis. All staff at the airport very efficient, knows & explain the payments you are required to pay for, informs the customer's about knowing the vehicle you are renting & inform you of the insurance coverage. Scam - don't rent from Avis! I have Avis President's Club. But they will scam you anyway!! I rented 3 times this year, 1st time they overcharge me $150, 2nd rental overcharge me $20, 3rd rental they blame me for front glass damage and sent me bill for $700. All 3 times I won, and they refund me money! For glass damage - I'm glad that I alway take video when I return car.

I declined Insurance twice. But I didn't get the contract until after I signed and that's when it shows up that the clerk charged me for insurance anyway. As soon as I get to my destination when I looked at the contract I contacted Avis through the chat feature because I couldn't call because the office was closed. I'm told by the representative that they are required to honor the contract that was signed. A catch-22 cuz you can't see the contract until after it's signed. This is theft!

Shoddy app. No details available on reservation. I had to try to open my express checkout QR code 3 times due to errors. Avis is really killing their previous good reputation, driving it into the ground. AI chat feature isn't helpful as it knows nothing. Agents are unhelpful as well.

I have trouble with Avis preferred every single time at Perth airport. There is no way to update my flight details in the app. And there is no earthly way to QUICKLY contact to get this updated. I guess I'll wait another 10–15 minutes tomorrow to get my Avis preferred car. UPDATE. App is slow, Impossible to amend reservations. IMPOSSIBLY EXPENSIVE. Wow a private chauffeur is cheaper!!
