Since the last update the biometrics are not working properly anymore. Asks for fingerprint, but then I still need to confirm with PIN every single time. This defeats the purpose of using biometrics.

The current version has biometric issues. After adding a second finger I can't enable biometric authentication anymore. The slider goes back. I hope the new version will fix this, but it looks like it's not available yet in the app store.

Overall fantastic; just sad we lost the Payqonic name. Should've been renamed to Bancontact Payconiq. "I'll pay with..." - Bancontact? Usually refers to a debit card. - Pay? That sounds unintuitive. - Bancontact Pay? Too long. - Payconiq? Widely recognized and distinct.

2025-12: been working fine the last 2 years. Bringing it back to 4 stars 2023-03; update: onboarding flow to updated app account fails with no explanation. Swapping between sms app and Payconiq app breaks the onboarding flow, have to restart the flow. And in the end I tried too many times, have to wait 24 hours, while WORST OF ALL the app refuses to function in the old way. What a poor user experience. Don't rely on this to pay, use a competitor!?

Keeps giving me an error message when I try to authenticate it through itsme. Tapping "I don't have itsme" gives the same error.

If new card: don't even try!!! Continuing: doesn't work. 'Reset app': doesn't work. Uninstall/reinstall: doesn't work. Bye bye, payconiq: that works...

I always face problems with this new app. It's either can't scan qr code or got blocked and no solutions given. The "contact support" button leads me to "webpage cannot be found" page. It's really frustrating! Bring back Payconiq app!!!

In the recent update, when you use "Pay a contact" the "Favorite contacts" or "recently used contacts" are gone AGAIN ! Please take care of this in the next update. It is hawed I use the app the most.
