You still are bad in 2026! I am in Thailand visiting with current passport info and your bank branch still said no. For international users, they have made it impossible to use the app on a new phone. Even native Thais are screwed. You have to visit a bank branch. Yeah a trip to Thailand to use their app on a new phone. And don't give me your 'security' excuse. It is BS.

I have been a Bangkok Bank customer for over 15 years, 4 accounts, credit card. As many know, we updated the app as mandated, facial recognition does not work especially on older phones like 2 years old. I had online banking through email for years, now I am told that the bank is no longer adding anyone online. At a main branch and spent over an hour of my time and your staff was unable to help me with the facial recognition mobile, told me to go home and try it! I will have to close accts.

The worst banking app in Thailand. Glitchy ux with security questions that bring up errors. Good luck trying to access your money or account. Forget about trying to call helpline or using any of their email addresses to get assistance, you will be waiting ages rock affects paying bills, rent or even just checking your account which is somehow at odds with the idea of their bank security quiz. Do better
