I love this app! I hope that they never get rid of it. I've been using it for years and it's so simple. There's a checklist option, and there's a long note option. There are no ads that I have to deal with, just optional ones at the bottom.

Perfect! Ads sort of distracting if you need something super focused, but I don't mind! There's no videos just headers and some pop-ups if you leave and reopen n stuff. They have categories/folders which I love. Love the light mode colors too, v cozy/pretty. Wish there was color customization for dark mode too!

Simple, easy to use. Really just the perfect notes app, you can make some notes private and switch between built-in dark mode and light mode. Performance for long notes seems to be device-dependent; I have some notes that are over 10,000 words long, and it still doesn't have much lag.

Ads! Everywhere! Try to make a note? Dropdown ad. Try to go back to your notes? Full page ad with no X button to close. Trying to save a note? Same thing. If this many ads are needed I am certain the information in the notes themselves are being harvested and sold as personal data for further business funding. Try different Note apps because this one is bloated, slow, and untrustworthy. If you need to look at your notes and move between them quickly it's not going to happen with Basic Note.

This used to work great. Now ads pop up on my notes. It has consistently gotten worse. I will probably look elsewhere for a note pad.
