Very good app got all the programs I like, but I like who do you think you are and should have the entire series on box set on the BBC i player from the first series to the most recent series

Pretty good. But, can you stop asking if I've got a TV license! Why not link my license to the app? I mean I can't use the app without a license. Also, if you want to put the BBC behind a paywall, you already have. It's the license I pay for! Just make us buy it through iPlayer! DOH!
★★★★☆Samantha M· Jul 24, 2026
Wish Iplayer would sort out the 'continuing watching' section. It is very annoying!!

Latest update has completely broken ability for me to watch BBC content on my 2026 Samsung TV. TV is yet to receive iPlayer app so was forced to Cast and now when I try to cast it errors with "Can't play video while mirroring sound to Wi-Fi speaker."
★☆☆☆☆Michael Rideal· Jul 14, 2026
Since lollipop upgrade content doesn't play Was working yesterday. Casting fine from a Samsung 25+ to a Chromecast ultra. Then the app was updated. Today only says 'AM Player' when you try and cast, and doesn't work. Please fix.
★★☆☆☆Phil Jeremy· Jul 18, 2026
Was good until casting stopped working. Now just does nothing or brings up a window which is pointless and useless. Used to work but now all other TV apps where casting works better. I don't want to watch content on phone. Chromecast made content watchable at home. I hope the fix this quickly or back out the change
