The Beacon Pal app is the companion app to the Dreem 3S headband. The Dreem 3S headband is an innovative solution to address sleep problems through monitoring of EEG signals by working closely with the clinical research community to further understand the origins of sleep problems. The Beacon Pal app will lead you through set up of Wi-Fi connection and walk you through the steps to record sleep events.
This app is meant to be used within the clinical trial setting only, using credentials provided to your by the study staff. Please make sure that you are enrolled in a ongoing clinical study before downloading this app.

This app withholds from users their own sleep data. This used to be different: the Dream 2 device gave clinically validated sleep staging to the users themselves. Hoping to make big med $$$, they issued instead a castrated prescription only device, the Dream 3, only good for sleep apnea. Now, users have hoped to get back their clinically validated full-fledged polysomnography-equivalent device as the Dream 3s, rebranded as Waveband. Nope. Users are again prevented from receiving their own data...

It first of all doesn't work, second of all the instructions are contradictory and confusing, and it says that things will happen that don't actually happen. The whole thing feels like a pointless scam.
