Description

The latest update to the Benshaw Start Here app brings a host of new functionalities, including the introduction of the Connect feature for Benshaw Medium Voltage starters fitted with the next-generation ‘NX’ Controller. This new suite of connectivity options allows users to securely interact with compatible devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), offering enhanced control and monitoring capabilities.

Start Here continues to serve as your all-in-one solution, retaining the features you already know and love. Effortlessly store key contacts, access essential technical materials, receive instant model recommendations, and review comprehensive trip data—all within one app. With added improvements and a refreshed look, Start Here now offers an even more intuitive user experience.

PARAMTER CONTROL
Easily adjust your BLE enabled soft starter’s parameter values, offering a faster, more convenient alternative to the physical HMI. Backup, restore, or transfer parameter settings between starters with simple import/export functionality. Create custom text labels for specific parameters, like personalised trip names for configurable I/O.

EVENT LOGS
Access up to 5000 logged events via Bluetooth, with detailed data and filters to sort by event type. The Start Here app makes event log viewing and issue diagnosis simple. Export and share logs directly from your device using the Export Data feature.

EXPORT DATA
Quickly export key data from your connected starter including; current parameter configurations, the latest 5000 logged events, lifetime operation data, and a summary of system hardware and software information—all in just one click. Easily share via your preferred file-sharing method for comprehensive technical support.

FIRMWARE UPDATES
Keep your Bluetooth capable soft starter up-to-date with secure firmware updates via the Start Here app. Perform updates using BLE to access the latest features and improvements, downloaded directly from the cloud with cyber-secure Bluetooth pairing and digitally signed firmware files.
