Takes a bit getting used to finding and moving the finer map options, but this has been a good map generator for quite some time, and I use it often with my playgroup. Would seriously recommend to those looking to get more out of catan

The ports are a little tricky, but I just covered up unused ports with unused numbers. I put ports as close to edge of tiles as possible, without covering up the tile itself then I explained to everyone what that means I wish ports used the docks drawn on the board. I wish the app constrained board setups to just use those port positions, or at least gave you that option. I also struggled with figuring out which initial spots on the board are best. I wish that ui was improved

If you play Catan, you should have this. It will equalize your board layouts to prevent unfair starting positions and make the game more dynamic. It also has a roll tracker to check how even your dice are.

Very good board generator. -1 star due to just maps having to be bought and the tips say wealthy in zones that aren't wealthy. Such as an 8/6/4 IS Wealthy while a 2/4 is not wealthy.

This app wasn't as good as it could be it glitches, and you kinda need to get the paid version if you want access to the seafarers features.

User Interface on a PC for this app is horrible. The app's banner blocks much of the generated game boards, and the boards are so large that the user has to scroll up or down to see the top or bottom. It's barely useful at all.
