Colonist is a free online alternative to the challenging social and strategy based board game Settlers of Catan. You take on the role of a Colonist by building settlements and expanding your territory. Colonist combines extremely simple rules with tremendously deep gameplay. Use strategy, planning, and cunning negotiation to win.
You can train against bots, play with friends online, and even compete in our ranked mode for a spot on the leaderboard! We also offer a variety of fun custom maps to play on in addition to traditional expansions like Cities & Knights and Seafarers. You can even play with more than 4 friends with our 5-6 and 7-8 player expansions.
In the store, you will find a wide array of custom colors and avatars that allow you to personalize your profile and show off. Pick a unique color and avatar combination to instill fear in your opponents!

Best C a t an n app I've found. However, there is a glitch where you don't receive your deserved cards on some roles. Gameplay moves quickly, so it probably happens more than I think, but I've clocked it a handful of times. No robber blocking the spot, and the tile will highlight showing its number was rolled, but you won't get your cards. Very annoying. Also, pausing a game against bots almost always glitches out and you have to start over. So don't pause. Still a good app.

I only wish buttons were spaced apart more, or landscape mode. I'm an adult with adult sized fingers. Lol

Its super fun but there are this bugs, in post game when you look at stats or if you look at the replay, after 1–2 minutes out of nowhere the game throws you into main menu :(

Catan fans, if you just want base game 1v1 or 4 players, this is it. If you want expansions or different maps, the subscription cost is wildly expensive.

The game is fun and easy to learn, the app is well-designed. If you pause a game against bots there is a 1hr timer however you get kicked off the game after a few minutes and can't rejoin

Better than catan. But IDK why it's so hard to have random dice rolls. Why for the love of god, do you all destroy your games by influencing dice rolls as game management. No one ever asked for this, no one ever liked or enjoyed this, it makes absolutely no sense. Yet here we are, difficulty in this game = number of 7 the AI will roll in a row at games end and number of their tiles will hit at end game. I've had games of over 18x7s, 2x9s 8×11s. Nothing I have actually experienced in real life
