The BeWell App from The Pharmacy Centre, a trading name of Medicinechest Ltd, enables you to manage your NHS repeat prescription ordering with your Pharmacy if it is a part of our network.
With this App you can safely and securely - Find and sign up with a Pharmacy. - Keep your medicine list up to date; add, delete or edit medicines. - Set reminders to re-order so you order prescriptions in good time and are not late getting your medicines. You will receive these via email and on your phone. - Order your prescriptions or let your pharmacy know you have ordered from your GP already. - Send a note to your Pharmacy along with your prescription order. - Receive status updates on your prescription order from your Pharmacy such as, when it is ready for delivery to your door, collection from your Pharmacy or whether you need to contact your GP. -Check your pharmacy's opening hours and services.

It literally takes seconds to order your medication and BeWell notify you when your order is ready to collect.

This app is only for the convenience of the pharmacy, not the customer. The app does not update when the prescription is approved by GP and there is no further communication when the prescription is ready for collection. The app allows me to type a message to the pharmacy and when I send it informs me the pharmacy cannot receive it. My previous pharmacy used to send me a text message when ready to collect.

Fundamentally broken as I am unable to order repeat prescriptions. The surgery has authorized the chemist to supply repeats for a year, so the app uses this data to define when I can reorder - as in not for another year! End result is I can't order through the surgery or the app and have to phone the chemist each time. Sadly I can't switch back to the old app I had as it insists I use this one now.

Unreliable. Not compatible with some devices. Samsung smartphone usually has messaged no internet connection when actual connection is fine. Same has occurred on Samsung tablet but then comes back and then goes again. So far it has not been active at the right time to place an order so that part of it is untested Unpredictable. Unreliable. Thus far I can only say avoid it like the plague. I hope they sort it soon as I have been with my pharmacy for many years and don't want to change.
