The bird weather puck and associated database is a real game changer. However, sometimes the app doesn't know the puck state for quite a while after it changes. And unfortunately, the puck is not as reliable as it could be. A lot because it has such a tiny interface, a single light. I wish they would come out with a next-gen Puck that had an actual display and better compute can capabilities. I'd be happy to pay a little more for it.

Wonderful device! Seems very accurate. It needs a summary of the birds heard though, rather than listing 50 soundings from 1 bird, for example

App itself seems fine, but it seems you can only access it from one device at a time, if I have it set up on my phone for example, but also want to access the PUC from my tablet, it needs to be "set up" again on the tablet. "Set up" as in you need to physically access the device to access it from the tablet, you can't just log in to your account and access everything.

Hopeful. Love the concept, disappointed in the execution. It's difficult to remain connected to the Wi-Fi, the idea of the batt powered is more of a false hope and really only reasonable for a day hike or a short camping trip. I wanted this would be similar to or even in collaboration with the Merlin Bird ID app. The only thing I don't love with the Merlin app is that it's recording from your phone or tablet. A separate, weatherproof device would be cool to leave in the garden throughout the year.
