Birth Alarm

Be there at the right moment – anytime, anywhere.

When your mare is expecting, every moment counts. Birth Alarm gives you peace of mind by keeping you informed and alert — so you can be there when it truly matters.

For over 30 years, Birth Alarm has been helping horse owners safely monitor their mares during the foaling period. Now, with the new Birth Alarm App, you can stay connected more easily than ever before. The app works seamlessly with our internet-connected Birth Alarm systems, combining proven technology with a modern, intuitive experience.

ALWAYS STAY NOTIFIED
No matter where you are, the app ensures you’ll never miss a moment. When your mare shows the first signs of giving birth, you’ll instantly receive a call notification directly on your phone — so even if you’re asleep or your phone is on silent, you’ll know right away. You can also receive alerts via push notifications, SMS, or email. Reliable, fast, and always within reach. You are also able to quickly get in touch with your family, stable staff, or veterinarian using group calls.

SMART TECHNOLOGY FOR A NATURAL PROCESS
Birth Alarm is based on the natural behavior of mares during labor. When contractions begin, a mare lies flat on her flank for several seconds. The Birth Alarm transmitter detects this position and sends a signal after 7.6 seconds — the proven threshold that indicates the start of foaling. With the app, this signal instantly reaches you, giving you the chance to attend the birth or intervene if complications arise. Your mare’s safety — and your foal’s first moments — are our priority.

DESIGNED FOR YOU AND YOUR HORSES
The new Birth Alarm App is built with ease of use and flexibility in mind:

* Intuitive design: Quickly view the status of all your connected mares at a glance.
* Real-time monitoring: Stay updated anytime, anywhere, thanks to internet-connected transmitters.
* Group calling: Start a group call with your family, stable staff, or veterinarian — so your whole team can communicate instantly, whenever needed.
* Group notifications: Share alerts with your family, stable staff, or veterinarian - everyone can stay informed together.
* Custom settings: Choose your preferred notification methods and alarm tones.
