USE OF THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (AccessibilityService API)
blockit uses Android's AccessibilityService API for one single purpose, the core of the app: keeping the block in place during a session. The "blockit · Session block" service detects which app is brought to the foreground while a session is active and, if it isn't one of the apps you packed in your suitcase, it brings you back to the block screen.
The service does NOT read your screen content and does NOT collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data. The only information used is the package name of the foreground app, processed on-device only and only while a session is active. The service does nothing when no session is running.
Enabling it is optional and requires your explicit consent in the system settings, but without it blockit cannot prevent the use of other apps during a block.
Recent changes: A brand-new home screen widget, free for everyone: the display shows your chosen duration with the signature tile digits, presets load it with a tap, and the play button starts your block. It follows your light or dark theme, and during a session it becomes the countdown.
Also: locked chats now unlock on Samsung devices too, alarms and calls work during sessions, settings toggle with a tap anywhere on the card, clearer tower stats that sync to new devices, and Glyph fixes for Nothing phones.

After setting timer, when I unlock the phone giving pin, the app instantly locks my phone. As a result I can not make a call. Plex fix it.

I started a 40-minute focus session, but I can still come back and write a review during the session. This is the biggest issue with the app. For the first 5–10 minutes, it works perfectly by blocking all apps as expected. However, after that, I can use everything again even though the focus session is still active. This is a major bug and defeats the purpose of the app. Please fix this issue.

I took premium for lock my phone more than 5 hours. But it says I need to buy a parachute to do that. Sorry to say now I want to cancel premium service. Return my money back
