Description

Your glucose numbers live everywhere — a paper logbook, your meter's memory, a note on the fridge. Then the doctor asks how the last three months went, and it's a blur. Steady is a blood sugar tracker that keeps every reading in one calm, private place.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account and no cloud — open the app and start logging
• Everything stays on your phone, in an encrypted database
• Works completely offline, anywhere
• Encrypted backup with your own passphrase, plus CSV/JSON export

LOG IN SECONDS
• Glucose readings with context: fasting, before/after meals, bedtime, exercise, sick days
• One quick-add menu for glucose, meals, insulin, labs and blood pressure
• Meals and carbs from a built-in offline food reference — a carb counter for the waiting room
• Scan a food barcode; if the item is in that list, the carbs fill themselves in
• Insulin (rapid, long, mixed), oral medication, GLP-1 and ketones
• Labs over time: HbA1c, fasting glucose, lipids, kidney values
• Blood pressure and water in a dedicated pregnancy (GDM) mode
• Supplies inventory for strips, lancets, needles and insulin, with a low-stock note

MOMENTS THIS IS FOR
The morning you wake high and want to know whether that happens every night. The two hours after dinner that slip past before you remember to test. The first week on a new medication, when you want the before and the after side by side. The month before an HbA1c test, when you would rather bring a record than a guess.

WORKS WITH HEALTH CONNECT
• Steady never pairs with a meter, a sensor or a CGM. It imports glucose values already stored in Health Connect — what a CGM app such as Dexcom or FreeStyle Libre synced there. Read-only, and no reading is added twice.

WHO USES IT
People newly diagnosed, still learning what moves the numbers. Everyday life with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Anyone on insulin who wants the dose beside the reading, and anyone managing with food and walking alone. Gestational diabetes through a pregnancy. Prediabetes, watched quietly between check-ups. A carer logging for an older parent, or a home where one meter serves everyone — separate profiles on one phone.

• Do I need an account? No sign-up and no email.
• Does it work offline? Yes — logging, dashboard and PDF, with no connection.
• Where is my data? On your phone, in an encrypted database. There is no server behind this diabetes app.
• mg/dL or mmol/L? Both; switch in settings and earlier entries follow.
• How does my doctor get the report? The PDF is built on your device, then sent or shown on screen.
• Do entries expire? No — they stay on the phone, with CSV/JSON export always there.
