(original review) Great device, but an update broke Wi-Fi functionality. For some reason, it claims the space character is invalid in a Wi-Fi password, which is ludicrous. (edit down to 1 star) Now a recent app completely broke the app. It instantly crashes as soon as I open it. Running Android 13.

Dropping Health Protect for weeks. Re-add was inconvenient, but worked ok. Now it won't re-add at all. I get you've stopped selling new ones, but I spent nearly a grand on this air cleaner only 2–3 years ago & I need it to work properly w/the app. I'm not buying a new one. I invested & saved for this, like others have to. I don't have it cuz I'm rich & can throw away money or want to add to landfill probs. I have it because I need it, & I expect at least 10yrs of service for a $200/yr appliance.

Edit: you have to use the fan setting and not auto to reach the desired level (this makes no sense). I figured this out but despite their response I still haven't heard from them, don't buy this if you need customer support. The device works, but it never reaches the target humidity overnight. It needs dark mode! I also don't understand why there's no option to turn it off in the morning as part of the schedule? Edit: I emailed support a week ago and have yet to receive a response about this.

After not using the app for years, I thought let's give it a try again. I connected all 8 filters we have and put in a schedule. Within 2 days, the filter keeps running again day and night while the schedule says it shouldn't at night. But it's good for their business because I have to buy twice as many filters, so why would they improve it. Many bad reviews for years and still the app has the same problems.
