We've been having several false alarms each week since our new Kidde alarms were installed, and are working with an electrician to try to figure out the problem if we can. It would be nice if the alarm notifications were more prominent in the phone, rather than having to open the app to find them. I'm mostly impressed otherwise at how the app has been working, and that you can reset the alarm by assuring the app that you have addressed the problem.

We had the smoke alarm go off. The notification popped up, and I couldn't clear it through the app. I had to get the ladder and press the button. Which was the entire point of getting the 20SAR-W to use our smartphone.

Kidde smoke alarms are a nuisance. Constant false alarms wake me up in the middle of the night. App says too much smoke to hush the alarm even though it is a false alarm. There should always be a way to override. The old app allowed you to override. Customers do not like it. Nuisance alarms are a big problem. Don't listen to customers you will lose them. Please fix the app!

I purchased 20SAR-W smoke detectors that say 'works with Google' on the box. I tried to connect Google Home via kidde app but the app doesn't show the connect button for Google Home. Also adding the device via Google Home app doesn't work, connecting 'Kidde Alarm's via works with Google connection says no compatible devices found!
