Bought this chassis ear pro from matco to compliment the maximus 2.0 did not work with maximus nor my galaxy s5 neo.

The microphone of my kit has strange characteristics. I can hear the kid at the other end of the shop laughing just as well as the noise I'm trying to find. It's picking up noises from 30 feet away, and they're just as loud as the wheel bearing I'm clamped to. Acoustically I don't know how to explain that. Diagnostically, it's the equivalent of noise in a waveform pattern. This makes 2 out of 2 Steel man acoustic products that have been garbage for me. Never using this brand again.
