Bank of Ceylon Smart Passbook is a mobile application which displays real time account transactions, account balance, last 15 transactions, current month statement and last month statement on smart mobile devices. This is the worst banking app I have ever used. It takes a very long time to load, only to show an empty account list. The app rarely manages to load my account details properly. I genuinely don't understand how an app with such poor performance is in use. It's a total waste of time; in fact, it would be more convenient to update my physical passbook by visiting the branch.

I am from Australia. I tried to install BOC Smart Passbook on my Laptop, but it allows only for my Mobile. But when I tried to register, it rejected my Australian Mobile number and NIC number. The message I get when I tried to register is NIC No/Mobile No, does not match with BOC Records, and to contact the nearest branch. Would this info help you to fix my issue? I'd like to hear soon. Is this software working fine OVERSEAS? Are the customers happy? Can this be installed on Laptop? Two stars!

There's always issues with this app!! Especially the Seychelles one. Last week it was not loading at all, and when it do you don't see the account details. So I uninstalled it thinking it was not working, I tried to re-install the app again, I've been trying for 4 days straight as it doesn't show the Seychelles version no more quite frustrating. There's always something with this app. Useless really!
