Description
Overview For more than 20 years, game designing legend Uwe Rosenberg has given players of Bohnanza the opportunity to plant beans and harvest them in exchange for as many bean dollars as possible. In the two-player-version Bohnanza – The duel, the two bean farmers offer each other gifts of beans they don‘t want for themselves, ideally ones that their opponent can‘t make use of, either. Cleverly combining the types of beans on the fields allows them to fulfil bonus tasks. The player who manages to earn the most bean dollars wins the game.

NOTE TO THOSE GETTING A BLACK SCREEN: This is a bug with Android Oreo which causes the app to not prompt for the permissions that it needs. Go into your application settings, and manually add phone storage permissions to this app in order to resolve the black screen issue. A great version of Bonanza. I've never played the physical version of The Duel, and I did find the tutorial to be rather lacking, especially when it comes to explaining the bonus cards.

I was never a fan of Uwe's predecessor to this, the multiplayer tabletop card game, Bonanza. Not a fan of THIS either, first time I tried it. But then I went over to YouTube and watched a couple of reviews and run-throughs, and turns out it's a pretty awesome two-player card game. And unlike some other Digitize titles, the AI in this one puts up a decent fight.

Not very good, it hard to play the rules aren't like the actual game, and it's not set up very nice. No one plays so you can't play online.

Could not figure out how to discard cards. The tutorial did not explain it, and we couldn't figure it out, so we could not even get through the
tutorial.

This is a great game, I love the original, and I love duel. The app doesn't crash, or it hasn't on me, but I can only play 1 fan free before the pop-up for the end of the game stays up during a new game. When I hit quit, it closes me out of the new game and will pop back up if I return to the new game. Also, if I do a hard close, the app breaks, and I only get a black screen. This leads to me having to uninstall and reinstall in order to play 1 game and repeat the cycle. Please fix!

I love the original card game, but this just seems way too complicated, too many weird rules! I went through most of the tutorial and decided to uninstall and get a refund
