Description
Indian Summer Before winter makes its appearance, a particularly warm fall bathes the forest in a golden shimmer. During the Indian Summer, New England blossoms one last time. Treetops are ablaze with countless colors — a living rainbow, from green to orange to red. Slowly the first leaves are starting to fall. Meanwhile, our steps and the diligent squirrels rustle the colorful foliage.
On our walks through the woods, we discover all kinds of little treasures; we collect berries, nuts, mushrooms and feathers. We pause for a moment to watch the shy inhabitants of the forest before we set off towards home once again. There, a good book and a hot tea are already awaiting.
The heart of Indian Summer are puzzle tiles with holes that are placed on individual forest boards to cover up treasures. When players get their hands on these, they gain more options and an edge over their opponents. All that counts in the end is to be the first to cover your forest floor completely with leaves.
Indian Summer is the second part of Uwe Rosenberg''s puzzle trilogy following 2016's smash hit game, Cottage Garden. This game is further geared towards more experienced players.

Great game, beautiful graphics and music. AI's difficulty needs to be adjusted. It goes from always winning against medium to always loosing against hard. Needs an intermediate level of difficulty that is actually medium and not too easy.

Indian Summer design by the same man who design Patchwork and Cottage Garden and because that they look similar. I didn't buy Patchwork because I didn't like the artwork, but I bought cottage garden. Indian Summer and Cottage Garden artwork are equally beautiful but I prefer Indian Summer because it's more fast-paced.

Already own Cottage Garden, so did I really need ANOTHER fit the shape on your board kind of game? Is it different enough? Truth? It was the squirrels that lured me in. Different enough from its predecessor to warrant owning both. But DON'T rely on the tutorial to learn how to play. As a hardcore gamer, I still found myself hunting down reviews of the board game version to learn how to play. But ultimately, yes, worth the effort, and a keeper.

Love the board game but can't drag my treasures to the board in the digital game. Useless if you cant play your treasures.

Is a great game, but will not go past load screen for some reason. Worked fine for a year or so now will not load. I tried reinstalling it and that didn't help. Will update rating when problem is fixed.
