Never played Gaia Project the board game but have Terra Mystica. This app is a cool way to try the space skin of a game that I love but is too complex for my friends.

Great implementation of one of the best board games ever created. Seems a little complicated and not intuitive at the beginning (buildings and symbols look different from in the board version of the game), but one gets used to it fast. The AI is amazing, especially at the hard and cheater level - much better than many real players. I wish there were such good AI bots in Terra Mystica ;)

While the board game is indeed excellent, and this app does an acceptable job doing a lot of the busywork and rule interpretation right, it sure misses a lot of opportunities: the tutorial is horrid, the UI clunky, many pieces of information are missing (need to consult the rules book elsewhere), and the screen is sadly NOT optimized for mobile devices (on a tablet this may be easier to use, but on a phone most text is illegible and buttons too small).

I like the game, but on my new phone poco F8 ultra, all Digitized games I bought are not working, already 6 months have passed still not working, they load, I hear sound, but the screen is black. I tried to mail, but inbox was full, so 1 star, even though I like the game

Claims to support Android 8+ but does not work on Android 9 pie so cannot use it. I have a Kindle Fire 10 which is Android 9. The specs for the app said Android 8+. Android 9 is very commonly on larger tablets. My Pixel 4a is Android 12, but it's a small screen so no good for large screen games.

I have been asked 3 times to turn on notifications. I DO NOT WANT NOTIFICATIONS. It is ridiculous that programmers can't accept that. I signed up for ranked games and apparently there aren't any players. The AI is decent, but not exceptional. In the 2 games I played I was against terrains each time, and they never upgraded to their Planetary Institute in either game, basically the widely accepted best opening for Terrans. The AI seem to choose random options too often over good options.
