Description

In Gaia Project, each player controls one of 14 factions striving to peacefully colonize the Terra Mystica galaxy. Each faction has different environmental needs to survive on a planet. These needs have led the factions to master terraforming, enabling them to make different planet types habitable for themselves.

This is the official digital version of the board game Gaia Project by Feuerland Verlag.

Never played Gaia Project the board game but have Terra Mystica. This app is a cool way to try the space skin of a game that I love but is too complex for my friends.

Really nice implementation of this game. The interface is practical but stuffed with symbols and buttons. Not really the designers fault because there is ALOT going on in this difficult game. Very happy one of my favorite board games made it to digital.

I have been asked 3 times to turn on notifications. I DO NOT WANT NOTIFICATIONS. It is ridiculous that programmers can't accept that. I signed up for ranked games and apparently there aren't any players. The AI is decent, but not exceptional. In the 2 games I played I was against terrains each time, and they never upgraded to their Planetary Institute in either game, basically the widely accepted best opening for Terrans. The AI seem to choose random options too often over good options.

Very confusing game, even with tutorial play through. I have played twilight imperium type games before but this one lacks any type of obvious game objectives. Good luck....

Claims to support Android 8+ but does not work on Android 9 pie so cannot use it. I have a Kindle Fire 10 which is Android 9. The specs for the app said Android 8+. Android 9 is very commonly on larger tablets. My Pixel 4a is Android 12, but it's a small screen so no good for large screen games.
