BookGroup: Book Club Reader

BookGroup is the platform for reading groups that takes books seriously. Bring people together around real books, read together with a full EPUB reader, and turn every passage into a lively discussion anchored in the text.

With BookGroup you can:

✦ READ WITH YOUR GROUP — Access a public catalog of EPUB books, join reading groups, and follow the reading progress of the whole group.

✦ ANNOTATE COLLABORATIVELY — Select any passage and create annotations or highlights that are instantly shared with your group. The discussion happens exactly where the text does.

✦ ANTI-SPOILER MODE — See only the comments from members who have already reached the same page as you. No more accidental spoilers.

✦ LANGUAGE COMMUNITIES — Each language is a completely isolated instance. Books, groups and discussions in Portuguese, English and Spanish exist in independent environments.

✦ PERSONAL TAGS — Organize your personal library with custom tags. Categorize by genre, historical period, reading status or any criteria that makes sense to you.

✦ GROUPS AND SUBGROUPS — Join public or private reading groups and create subgroups to deepen specific debates with other members.

✦ EXPLORE BEFORE YOU JOIN — Browse the public library of EPUB books, read public discussions, and find a group to join — no account required.

✦ SYNC ACROSS DEVICES — Your reading progress is automatically synchronized between all your devices.

✦ LEGAL COMPLIANCE — Compliance Center with legal documents by type, language and country. Real commitment to copyright and data protection.

BookGroup is ideal for book clubs, university study groups, teachers and anyone who believes that reading is better when shared.
