Nowadays works really well. Discounted tickets, timetables, favorite stops widget etc. Live bus tracking (maps) is hard to use, but ETAs generally accurate anyhow.

Really easy to buy tickets, and they are a great price compared to buying a ticket on the bus. Borders Buses are great 👍

Terrible up, update to services are rare and bus tracker doesn't work properly half the time. Impossible to know if is going to be late or arrive early. I understand sometime buses are late but drivers should stick to the schedule and not leave early. If buses just aren't going to arrive you should be notified in the app, so you can adjust your journey. Y

Half of the time, buses aren't using their trackers so the timetables in the app' are marginally more useful than the physical ones stationed at stops. These buses are usually late, but occasionally show up and leave earlier. Generally speaking, Borders isn't the most reliable transport around and tends to be late to the scene. The app' is pretty much required reading at this point however as neither Borders nor the council seem to routinely update the physical timetables at stops.
