Despite all the negative reviews, the app actually works... the problem is that for it to work you have to follow a specific series of steps, and if you miss one, or do it in the wrong order, nothing connects. For instance, if you connect the phone, nothing happens until you turn the key on AND press the mode button. Right there is the first problem... even before that you have to open the app, etc. The whole thing is too damn complicate, and I work in IT :-) When it finally works, it is nice to have the GPS on the screen... Navigating everything with the joystick can be a problem. All in all this is a great idea, but the implementation is rather complicated. Then you have issues with your phone heating up... but that is another story...

Havent really had a issue with BRP comnect itself, supporting apps are a different story. Would be nice to add bluetooth voice commands to nav system's to search addresses and POI. Genius maps has this option but not when running through BRP Connect app. Playlist wont show up on the music app that are on my phone.(Android). Rever app wont resume after a pause within BPR comnect and is very hard to navigate.

A total misnomer!! BRP DIS connect would be more honest and more descriptive. Beyond poor! In 2018, one of the developers at BRP replied to a neg. review saying that they take reviews "seriously"? I have a new 2021 RT Ltd and the app literally, in less than a minute(!), disconnects, after it has sluggishly, connected - citing a USB connection error?? I have used the lead supplied with the phone - and others - the app DOES NOT WORK! I can't review Sygic or Genius they close after opening! Awful!

Probably the worst app I've ever used. Almost impossible to get bluetooth to connect to my Smart HJC helmet. My dealer did it after a complicated bunch of steps, but I have never been able to accomplish this impossible feat myself. None my apps work with it including Google maps. The apps that do work are useless including Genius Maps GPS navigation. Frankly, the only thing it did for me was to make me spend money on apps I'll never use. It almost makes me wish I never bought my Can-AM Spyder.
