It continues to improve. Can now authorize others to use the app so multiple accounts can log into the app at the same time for the same car. It has also added control of smart charging settings in the app. Unfortunately you have to use pin code to do certain actions (like remote turn on AC) after logging into the app which is unnecessary for me but can't be turned off. also-digital key for Atto 3 in the app please.

Why after the recent system update on BYD Atto 2 Malaysia, the BYD Atto 2 app cannot work and sync with the BYD Atto 2 car. The BYD app showed "weak network signal". Is there anything wrong with the car internal sim card after the system update??!! Can BYD HQ Malaysia fix the problem issue immediately and urgently now !!!

Very basic app. I guess it suits the technical level of the cars' software which is very basic. Difficult to stop / start charging and very limited steps to adjust charging rate. Unlocking the car is slow and clumsy when unlocking via the phone RFID option... you have to be extremely mindful if controlling the air-conditioning via the app. You can end up running the air-conditioning unit all the time even if you have entered and the departed the car after setting the air-conditioning unit.
