THIS APP IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED As mentioned in our last release, we are excited to move this app’s functionality to our main app, SMS Backup & Restore (the free version), which combines the functionality of backing up and restoring both call logs and text messages!
We are focused on updating the SMS Backup & Restore (free) app regularly, and it will work seamlessly with any existing Call Logs backups you have. Although there is an important note: If you are using this app to back up to an external SD Card, then uninstalling will delete your backup files. Please make sure to move your backups to another location before uninstalling.

A simple App to Backup and Restore Call Logs (history). This is a Paid No-Ads version of the Ad-Supported Free App. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Features: * Automatic Scheduled Backups. * View Backup Contents from within the App. * Backups created in XML Format. * Option to specify the Backup folder. * Backup format is independent of the Android version so the Call History can be easily moved from one phone to another, irrespective of the Android version. * Delete Call History on the Phone. * Email a backup file. * The XML can then be converted to other formats, and can also be viewed on a computer. Android only keeps history of 500 calls, so something like this is a must if you want to keep your call history. This App needs access to the following: * Storage: To create the Backup file on the SD card. * Your social information: To read/write the Call History and also to display and store the contact names in the Backup file. * Run at start-up: Start scheduled Backups. * Control Vibration: To vibrate the phone when an operation is completed. * Prevent Phone from Sleeping: To prevent the phone from going to sleep/suspended state while a Backup or Restore operation is in progress. * Test access to Protected Storage: To create the Backup file on the SD card.
Recent changes: Note: If you are using the app to backup to external SD Card, and you're migrating over to our SMS Backup & Restore app, then do not uninstall the Call Logs app, as that will delete all your backup files.

Great App This is one of those "Must Have" apps. I like to keep my call log as small as possible so, I setup this app to Backup call logs everyday and I have this app to keep the logs for 3 days 👍 One request please, give us an option to delete the call logs after X number of days ;)

Works very well I used this app to backup before, and restore after, a factory reset. It worked perfectly.

Used to work like a no brainer. Recently during backup I am getting messages about not being able to write to external SD card. Apparently the only way to write to the external card is to manually select a destination on the external card. The dialog for doing this is very cryptic This vastly increases the odds of misplacing the backup. Within the same time frame I began seeing previous backups that are labeled "invalid". I no longer have any confidence in this app, nor it's ability to restore data to a new device.
