Transferring from Samsung messaging to Google wasn't as smooth as they said it would with missing sent texts, used this app to back up and restore, and I got every text, received and sent transferred to google, it really did help

Very good app. Until this week when my Samsung S24 did an update and now backups only show incoming messages. My outgoing RCS messages aren't backed up. Can you provide an update that fixes this? 30/6/26 an update from Samsung/Google has now fixed this.

Lord knows I was booed hooing when I switched from Samsung messages to Google messages and realized that rcs messages are NOT like sms messages and are not stored in the typical manner as SMS. I'm not sure how but this app succeeds where easy share and even USB to USB transfers failed. It actually picked up the rcs messages and restore them on my new phone! I have 12 years of messages archived, so it really meant a lot to me to have every single text. Thank you!!!! Please add monthly backup options

Will overwrite MMS table on restore, so if you have image, etc. not backed up, and you restore, say goodbye to that and any other MMS. And stupidly backs up trash. Stop that or make setting! So this really makes this app useless for MMS. Goodbye.

The sms Backup utility did NOT back up the entire message thread. It left out my first and last message in the thread. There should be 43 total messages in the thread, but the toll is only listing 41.

I used this to back up my texts from Samsung Messages before switching to Google Messages. I saved it in Google Drive, however when I try to access the file it goes halfway, and then I get an error code. I don't understand it. And its very frustrating.

ONLY SMS NOT RCS. This app will not allow RCS text to transfer over due to them being encrypted on both ends. Google how to back up your text to Your Google account both RCS and SMS along with all photos and videos you got and sent. Set up your new phone then if you want you can delete the backup and start fresh. Google already owns everyone's info so for me, I don't see the issue. This app will only move over SMS any RCS will not work due to its encryption end to end.
