The fact that you lose all your sms messages and your entire phone call history when you move to a new phone (assuming your old phone was stolen or bricked) is a huge flaw in the Android ecosystem. By rights, they should be backed up and restored automatically. Fortunately, we have SMS Backup & Restore, which plugs this loophole. It has saved my bacon multiple times now.

The best SMS backup app hands down. Been using it for many years at my phone repair shop, and recommend to my customers to buy the pro version for their own secure backups. A suggestion would be to include a contacts backup option, and maybe even apps backup to make it a one-stop shop for all backups. ;)

Originally was a great app. At least with the moto stylus. Now with the Moto G edge 202 4 It's sporadic in working. Ive uninstalled reinstalled etc. no luck. Factory reset my phone thinking it might help it worked great for about 3 days.

Do not use this app if you treasure your texts. I back up my texts weekly. Last week I deleted a group text by accident, so I looked at the last backup before this, and it is missing. I then looked at the previous 7 backups on Google Drive, and it is missing from every file. This is now the third time I have lost texts this year due to this app. Run away!!!! DO NOT USE THIS APP if you really want to actually save your texts

Well archive mode is hit or miss. you're gambling using this trash. It will sometimes decide, no those conversations don't need backing up. Just amateurish garbage! Last but not least don't bother trying to manage your backup files. If you just breathe on them outside this ap the break. Effinh harassed unfinished garbage

App puts in final report that it "Deletes Duplicates" and tells you how many it DELETED w/o giving you option to review first. How dare you decide which "duplicate" I love you! Msg from my son to delete? ASK FIRST
